Terms of Service

By accessing or using Genlua, you agree to comply with and accept these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Genlua is a desktop IDE for Roblox Studio development, backed by a cloud service that provides AI assistance. The desktop application edits files on your machine and coordinates with Roblox Studio through tools like Rojo and the Genlua companion plugin. The cloud service processes your prompts and returns generated code and related output.

When using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Not engage in any harmful or malicious activities
• Not attempt to circumvent usage limits, resell access, or share one account across multiple people
• Comply with Roblox's own Terms of Use and Community Standards when publishing content built with Genlua

Subscription plans. Genlua offers paid subscription tiers that unlock AI features and include a monthly usage allowance. Plan details and pricing are listed on our website and may change over time.

Billing. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Unused monthly allowance does not roll over unless stated otherwise.

Top-ups. One-time top-up purchases add extra usage to your account. Top-ups are consumed after your plan allowance and are non-refundable once purchased.

Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment details on our servers.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until that time.

All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months of service, unused allowance, unused top-ups, or any other reason after payment has been processed, except where required by law.

We want to resolve billing issues directly. If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us first and we will investigate.

• We may temporarily restrict access while a chargeback or dispute is active so we can investigate.
• Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may be treated as a breach of these Terms.
• Unresolved or repeated chargebacks may result in account termination, and you remain responsible for any chargeback fees or outstanding amounts.

Any attempt to obtain an unauthorized refund or chargeback may result in termination of your Genlua account and forfeiture of access to our services. Once a dispute is resolved, we can restore access if the account is in good standing.

If your account is terminated, you do not lose your project files. Your code lives on your own machine and in your Roblox experience; Genlua does not host or store your codebase or project assets. Termination only affects access to Genlua's services, including AI features tied to your subscription.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of our service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes when possible.

Genlua is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our service, including loss of data, revenue, or Roblox experience functionality. AI-generated code should be reviewed before you ship it; you are responsible for what you publish.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
